Olympic Trivia | John Naber and April Ross | Sunday, December 4th at 3:30

{pages} is pleased to welcome TWO Olympic champions, John Naber (Swimming) and April Ross (Beach Volleyball) on Sunday afternoon, December 4th. John and April will be on hand to discuss John’s book, Olympic Trivia Challenge. Plan to join us for a discussion about their respective Olympic experiences with a healthy dose of Olympic trivia thrown in on the side.

John Naber competed as a swimmer in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Canada.  He won 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal, breaking six world records.  After his Olympic success, he went on to be a television announcer for over 30 different sports, a corporate speaker and an author.  He has volunteered his time to many charities and is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

April Ross grew up in Costa Mesa, attended Newport Harbor High School where she played indoor volleyball and won two State Championships. Attended USC and won two National Championships with the indoor team. Played 3 years professionally indoors in Puerto Rico, and then made the switch to beach at 26. Qualified for 3 Olympic Games on the Beach winning Silver in 2012, Bronze in 2016, Gold in 2020. Now pursuing a Masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University Irvine and grad-assisting for their beach volleyball team.
