Marisa Reichardt is the critically acclaimed author of young adult novels. Her debut, UNDERWATER, was an Indies Introduce New Voices pick and an Indie Next Top 10 pick, while her second novel, AFTERSHOCKS, is an ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults nominee for 2021. Her latest novel, A SHOT AT NORMAL, is garnering praise as a timely addition to a post-Covid world. Marisa has a Master of Professional Writing from USC and dual degrees in Literature and Creative Writing from UC San Diego. She lives with her family in Hermosa Beach and is happiest in the ocean.

Jeff Garvin is an author, podcaster, and musician.  His debut YA novel, SYMPTOMS OF BEING HUMAN, is an ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults Selection, a Lambda Literacy Award Finalist, and garnered starred reviews from Booklist and Publishers Weekly.  His sophomore book, THE LIGHTNESS OF HANDS, is a Junior Library Guild selection and received a starred review from School Library journal and praise from multiple New York Times bestselling authors. Jeff has a BFA in Film from Chapman University.  He lives with his family and pets in Southern California.
