Dav Pilkey Returns to the South Bay with Special Guests

Sunday, October 27th - 2:00pm at El Segundo Performing Arts Center

{pages} a bookstore, Scholastic, and El Segundo Public Library are super excited to announce an event featuring Dav Pilkey, the award-winning and New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of the popular Dog Man and Captain Underpants series! Dav Pilkey will be at the El Segundo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 27th as part of his international Do Good Tour. "Do Good" is a campaign to encourage readers of all ages to give back and make a positive impact in their communities. Help Dav and Dog Man do good and keep the ball rolling by donating a new or gently used ball to Saint Sebastian Sports Project.  Bins are available in the store and at the event for donations.

We are also super excited to announce Davs special guests, exclusive to the {pages} Dav Pilkey event! Dan Santat, Caldecott Medal winner and the illustrator of Dav's Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot series, and Gale Galligan, cartoonist of The Babysitters Club #5, #6, and #7 will both join Dav as his supa-buddies!

Come join the "Do Good Tour"! Meet Dav Pilkey, hear his inspiring story and learn why it matters to Do Good! This event will feature a presentation and live drawing, ways for you to learn how you can do good, and photo ops with Dav, Dan, and Dog Man and Captain Underpants costumed characters.  Get a Reading Gives You Superpowers Superhero Cape and other fun swag and have a chance to win some cool prizes (while supplies last). There will also be lots of giveaways and a signed copy of his newest book, Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls is included with each ticket.

We are happy that Dav Pilkey’s #DoGood event is popular and that children and parents are excited to be part of the event. Our ticketing is for the individual purchasing the ticket only. Anyone using tickets originally purchased by someone else risks denial of admission to the event. We caution anyone purchasing from 3rd party sellers. We are happy that Dav Pilkey’s #DoGood event is popular and that children and parents are excited to be part of the event.
